An intensive course compresses the same structured teaching as regular lessons into a single, focused week - daily driving, Monday to Friday, rather than one or two lessons spread across several months.
This suits a learner who can commit a full week, wants to reach test-ready as quickly as realistically possible, or is working to a fixed deadline (a job that requires a licence, moving away for study, and similar). It is not necessarily a shortcut to less total tuition - the same amount of driving happens, just concentrated rather than spread out.
